Title: Tax Preparer/Accountant

Pay:       $52,000.00-$75,000.00

We are an established Tax, Resolution and Accounting firm in Temecula. We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer/Accountant who has a broad base knowledge of all types of tax returns and can confidently prepare individual, partnerships, S and C Corporations, and trust returns. Our clients include a wide variety and range of entity and filing types with a focus on small/local businesses. This position includes face-to-face meetings with clients and moderate overtime during tax season.

Requirements:

• 4+ years tax preparation experience using Lacerte or similar tax software
• Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant preferred, will consider CTEC depending on experience
• Strong ability to review and prepare simple to complex individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns from start to finish
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to simplify and communicate complex business and personal information as well as develop and manage client relationships
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage client projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Clear communication with clients, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Advanced understanding of accounting and tax practices
• High proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop versions)
• Financial statement preparation and compilation

Pay: $52,000 to $75,000+ depending on experience

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
